Overview[]
Copper is likely the very first ore you will find and mine, being found in the Lightslate and Granite layers. The tutorial requires you to mine three Copper. It resembles its real-life counterpart, being an orange colored mineral. It is most commonly found in the Lightslate layer at a 1/4 chance, while in the Granite layer it only spawns at a 1/40 chance.
Copper is used for the Copper Pickaxe, requiring 3 Copper.

- In real life, Copper is element 29 on the periodic table, and is a good conductor of electricity. Due to this, copper is commonly used in electrical wires.
- During the tutorial, the three nearest pieces of copper will be highlighted orange.
