Geodes are special blocks found only in crystal caves or snow biomes. The amount of geodes that spawn in a crystal cave varies between 1-3, and can be increased by using the Navigator enchant. The same can be said for Lava Geodes, which spawn deeper (snow caves), and are more rare. All Geodes can be cracked open by the NPC Katy Smith within The Blacksmith builfor 35K coins a piece. Geodes have a chance to contain exclusive ores that can be traded, however there's a 50% to receive Lightslate.
