Gold is a yellow ore, found from the Granite to Iceslate layers. This makes it much more of a common sight compared to other ores in the game. It resembles its real-life counterpart. Gold is most commonly found in the [Layer] layer at a [chance] chance, however it spawns up to the [Layer] layer. Gold is used to craft the Gold Pickaxe, with 5 Gold and 1,800

- Ingame, Gold is the 2nd most recurring ore behind Coal, despite it being relatively rare in real life.
- In real life, Gold is element 79 on the Periodic Table, and is extremely soft, malleable and ductile, as well as being one of the densest elements.
- This unfortunately means however, that it is less than ideal to make a pickaxe of in real life.
