Lavaslate is the twelfth layer of the mine, following Redslate. This layer is gray, with volcanic markings on the rock. Like the Redslate layer, it has a red atmosphere, but is much brighter due to the cracked appearance of the rock, which seems to turn into bright gray cracks from afar.
It contains 9 collectible ores aside from secret ones. Two of these are Rare ores called Bombastic and Demonite, of which both are able to be used to make the best pickaxes in the game.
