The Smokeslate Layer is the 4th layer within the mines. It contains 9 collectible ores, with no rare ores nor secret ores. Even as an early-game layer, it is quite lackluster, especially given its lack of "special" ores. The only standout is that it's the only place in the game where both variants of Diamonds (Black Diamond, Diamond) can be found.
The Layer Toughness is 25.
